Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Field Operations team. You’ll coordinate daily construction activities, promote jobsite safety, maintain project documentation, and support project execution nationwide. This is a hands-on role to develop construction management and leadership skills.

You will work with the Superintendent and project team, travel to various job sites, and ensure smooth field operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety.
• Assist with job hazard analyses, safety reviews, and training.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance and project documentation.
• Verify quantity calculations and support field surveying.
• Maintain accurate labor timekeeping and project records.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support additional needs.
• Travel to and from job sites as needed.
