JE Dunn Construction is seeking a FIELD ENGINEER – CORE to support our Advanced Facilities Group in Houston. You will actively participate in safety plans, perform self-performed tasks with a trades crew, and learn company methods for efficient building practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred depending on location.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work embedded with a crew of craftsmen.
• Learns company best practices and fundamentals for building techniques through hands-on training.
• Builds relationships and communicates effectively with trades and project teams.
• Develops understanding of functions across the company and how each contributes to project success.
• Learns Lean practices and applies them to daily activities.
