Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Field Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group to contribute to safety, teamwork, and hands-on construction tasks across multiple projects. The role emphasizes learning company standards, crane flagging, and efficient building techniques.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, up to 2 years in construction, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (preferred).
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship (preferred).
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in the safety culture with mentoring others.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work as part of a crew.
• Gains knowledge of company best practices and construction techniques on the job.
• Builds relationships and communicates with trades, foremen, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Learns company standards for equipment use in building processes.
• Collaborates with others and demonstrates teamwork.
• Incorporates Lean practices into daily activities.
