Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer for the Core Trade Family within the Advanced Facilities Group. You’ll participate in safety planning, work with craftsmen on assigned tasks, and learn company standards for building processes on major industrial projects nationwide.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of construction experience, a bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred), and an eagerness to develop skills in crane flagging, rigging, and Lean construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 0–2 years construction experience preferred.
• Experience or training in lean construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Works with crew to complete assigned tasks on site.
• Learns company standards for building practices on projects.
• Builds relationships with trades and project teams.
• Learns Lean practices and applies them on daily activities.
• Attends weekly work plan meetings and site practices.
