Job summary
Baker Hughes Holdings LLC is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to oversee AVR systems across power generation, industrial, and marine applications. You'll collaborate with engineering and service teams to calibrate systems, analyze faults, and provide timely technical recommendations.
Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in customer-facing or supplier-facing technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with generator excitation systems, AVR systems, or power generation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Configure, commission, and validate AVR software prior to deployment.
- Support installation, startup, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
- Perform routine and outage maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control system issues using diagnostic tools.
- Calibrate AVR systems to ensure proper voltage regulation and performance.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, including fault analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports on testing, maintenance, system performance, and warranty investigations.
