Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist II to deliver on-site technical service and support to customers. You will manage jobs, coordinate with customers and third-party providers, and ensure equipment readiness at the job site while following safety procedures.

The role requires experience in field operations or electrical service, strong troubleshooting ability, and excellent communication. You may travel and stay away from home as needed, ensuring high-quality service and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in field operations, electrical service, maintenance, industrial service, or a related technical environment.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field-based operations.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required to support customer service needs.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned jobs and ensure timely arrival at customer locations.
• Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments.
• Work effectively with customers and third-party personnel on-site.
• Support field operations with overnight travel when required near customer sites.
• Work safely with electrical systems and equipment up to 5,000 volts.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available.
• Follow company processes, procedures and safety requirements at all times.
• Support successful job execution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and internal teams regarding job status and needs.
• Ensure compliance with Baker Hughes Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
