Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist II to deliver on-site technical services and ensure customer requirements are met safely and efficiently. You will manage assigned jobs, coordinate with customers and third-party providers, and maintain field equipment readiness to support reliable service delivery.

Ideal candidates have field operations experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in field operations or related technical environment.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned jobs and arrive at customer locations 30 minutes before service time.
• Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments.
• Work with customers and third-party personnel on-site.
• Support field operations with potential overnight travel near customer sites.
• Work safely with electrical systems up to 5,000 volts.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials and tools are available for service activities.
• Follow company processes, safety requirements, and procedures.
• Support successful job execution and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and internal teams about job status.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
