Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Deployment Technician - AC Power to perform technical start-up and commissioning of large, high-profile UPS and switchgear orders on site across North America. You will work independently reporting to the Supervisor or Senior Project Start Up Engineer and participate in accelerated on-the-job training; typical projects last 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Technical/Undergraduate Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience reading electrical diagrams and using test equipment.
• Solid understanding of Ohm's Law and electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• On-site and phone technical assistance to customers.
• Scheduled maintenance per company guidelines and safety rules.
• Implement Field Change Notices and report promptly.
• Maintain inventory, timecards, expenses and ticket closures.
