Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Deployment Technician to perform technical start-up and commissioning of large, high-profile orders using Uninterruptible Power Supplies and Switchgear. You will work independently on-site, reporting to the Supervisor, Site Leader, or Senior Project Start Up Engineer, with accelerated on-the-job training.

Typical projects last 6–12 months. You will provide on-site and phone technical assistance, conduct scheduled maintenance, implement Field Change Notices, and stay

Qualifications

• Technical/Undergraduate Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Solid foundation in Ohm's Law and electronic theory.
• Basic fix/repair techniques.
• Site evaluation skills (environmental, operating conditions).
• Troubleshooting ability.
• Mechanical and tool aptitude.

Responsibilities
