Job summary

QXO is seeking a Director, Field Environmental Health & Safety to lead the EHS strategy for a multi-site business unit, aligning safety programs with business goals and regulatory requirements while delivering measurable performance.

Based in Atlanta, Coppell, or Herndon, this role oversees Regional EHS Managers, partners with senior operations leaders, and drives risk reduction, incident prevention, learning, and enterprise-standard implementation across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in distributed environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA and risk management.
• Experience leading multi-site EHS organizations and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EHS strategy for an assigned business unit.
• Lead a team of Regional EHS Managers across multiple regions.
• Partner with COE to deploy enterprise EHS standards and systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous performance improvement.
• Drive risk reduction and proactive incident prevention across operations.
