QXO is seeking a Director of Field Environmental, Health & Safety to lead the EHS strategy for a major business unit. You will guide a regional team, embedding safety into operations and capital decisions while collaborating with the EHS Center of Excellence to standardize programs across sites.

The role demands strategic leadership, strong risk management, and outstanding collaboration with executives to build a learning, resilient safety culture and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in safety, environment, engineering, business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership in distribution, transportation, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading multi-site EHS organizations and building high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT/FMCsa and risk management.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and execute the EHS strategy for the business unit.
• Lead a team of Regional EHS Managers across regions.
• Embed EHS into operating planning, capital investments, and growth initiatives.
• Partner with COE to deploy enterprise standards and training.
• Drive risk reduction and continuous improvement in safety programs.
