Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is hiring a Dock & Door Service Technician in Charlotte, NC. The role reports to the Dock & Door Operations Manager and focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance of automation equipment at customer sites.

You will lead a technician team, promote service maintenance programs, and represent the dealership with a commitment to excellence. Daily travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• One to three years’ relevant experience and/or training preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems preferred.
• Lift truck and scissor lift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to meet maintenance goals and improve efficiency.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on customer equipment.
• Ensure safety training is completed and records kept.
• Maintain accurate records of service work and parts used.
• Travel to customer sites as required and report findings clearly.
