Job summary

CLAAS is seeking a Resident Diesel Technician in Fargo, ND to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on CLAAS equipment. The role requires an Ag Diesel Technology degree and at least 3 years in field service, with strong customer-facing skills and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field service technician/engineering on agricultural equipment.
• Prior experience in high visibility customer facing role.
• Ability to travel within region and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex on-site diagnostics, service, repairs, and maintenance on CLAAS equipment.
• Explain maintenance or repair needs to customers and document on work orders.
• Collaborate with Parts to stock seasonal inventory and support set-up/adjustments.
• Promote service programs to customers and ensure timely reporting.
• Schedule daily work assignments with Technical Support Center and travel as needed.
