Quest Diagnostics in the San Diego region is seeking a Physician Account Executive to grow the diagnostics business by building relationships with current accounts and securing new opportunities across South San Diego to Imperial Valley.

This field-based role offers a base salary with an uncapped sales incentive plan and comprehensive benefits; strong presentation and negotiation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in sales or with account ownership.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and consistent follow-up
• Target and secure new business
• Provide overall support and expertise to new & existing accounts
• Increase discretionary business through insurance access
• Partner with Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face service is required
• Provide immediate support for less complex issues
• Leverage all tools and resources as needed
• Prepare and present proposals and bids
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Complete all administrative tasks promptly
