Job summary

Leidos in New Jersey seeks a Desktop Field Technician to support workstation hardware replacement and deployment across multiple client locations. You will work with IT teams, site contacts, and end users to install, configure, and ready equipment while following Leidos standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of desktop/field IT experience, hands-on hardware installation, Windows AD familiarity, and the ability to travel to Newark, Secaucus, and nearby NJ sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with additional technical training
• 2–4 years in desktop support or field IT support
• Hands-on experience with Windows workstations and peripherals
• Experience with Windows Active Directory
• Willingness to travel between NJ locations
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and replace computers, monitors, and docking stations
• Perform workstation deployments at multiple office locations
• Route and label cables neatly and maintain clean workspaces
• Ensure workstations connect to power and network and report to SCCM
• Manage AD computer objects and document activities
• Coordinate with IT teams and escalate complex issues
