Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Edison, NJ. You will perform on-site hardware/software support, install IP phones, manage tickets, and deliver high-quality end-user service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in desktop support, experience with Windows OS, MS Office, AD, and hardware repair. Occasional travel to other client sites and on-call shifts are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of desktop support experience.
• Hands-on with workstation hardware and components replacement.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS applications, antivirus, and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Perform desktop/notebook hardware and peripheral configuration and repair; install IP phones and network drops; troubleshoot issues.
• Provide on-site customer service to end users via in-person, phone, email and video.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations to optimize performance.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems using advanced tools; identify firewall/AV issues.
• Break/Fix hardware/software; replace parts and repair desktops/notebooks/printers.
• IMAC: install/maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Ticket and workload management in the customer ticketing system.
• Physically able to lift and move hardware.
