Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Experience with computer software, hardware and laser printers.
• CompTIA A+ preferred or degree in Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer related problems.
• Provide basic end-user training to end users to reduce future help desk calls.
• Conduct interactions with system users, peers and management in a patient, courteous and professional manner.
• Install, configure and upgrade operating systems, software applications, PC hardware and peripherals.
• Answer the technical support phone, review email, and log all support calls in the proper database.
• Must have a flexible schedule to work other shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient or internal hospital information.
• Provide end user resolution over the phone, remotely or on-site visits.
• Maintain asset inventory and logs.
• Perform desktop repair for PC equipment and peripherals.
• Coordinate repair of third party equipment with appropriate vendors.
• Follow Help Desk policies at all times.
• Visually monitor systems and take action if needed.
• Maintain online logs of assignments.
