Job summary

LeadingIT seeks a Field Technician in Manteno, IL for a full-time role. You will handle client support, deploy hardware, image PCs, and travel on-site to client locations while following established procedures.

Ideal candidates have solid help desk experience, a good grasp of computer systems and devices, and enjoy problem solving with strong documentation habits. CompTIA A+/Net+ is a plus and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Diligent with note taking, following process, and documentation.
• CompTia A+ and Net+ certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a large variety of client support requests from a diverse client base.
• Hardware deployment to clients and PC imaging.
• Determine best solution based on issue details provided by customers.
• Travel on-site to clients' locations.
• Follow-up and update customer status and information.
