Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to plan, coordinate, and lead a crew in field vegetation management. The role involves training crew members, enforcing safety practices, and coordinating access with property owners to ensure timely work completion.

The position offers an hourly, full-time (non-exempt) arrangement with company benefits. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to adjust to field requirements and act independently without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight of employee should not exceed approximately 300 pounds.
• Must have no fear of heights.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, work scope, and property damage with owners; refers complex cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains customer relations through effective completion of assigned work and crew conduct.
• May investigate incident reports and minor damage claims and settle them.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and crew operation reports.
• Controls crew costs and efficiency of labor, methods, and equipment use.
