Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily field operations and mentor crew members. You will collaborate with management to set hiring needs, deadlines, and ensure safety protocols are followed at job sites.

The role requires coordinating work, resolving routine site issues, and maintaining strong customer relations while ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Must be organized, able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Must hold a valid CDL and be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Physically capable of field work including overhead activities and heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work details; escalates issues as needed.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports for crew activities.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of personnel and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed and incidents as required.
