Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate workload, and ensure safety and quality on job sites in Florida. Qualifikationen

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight limit approximately 300 pounds due to equipment capacity.
• No fear of heights.

Aufgaben

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA, company policy, and training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, work scope, and property damage with owner/customers; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Promotes good customer relations through quality completion of work and crew conduct.
• May investigate incident reports and minor damage claims.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and reports for crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of people, methods, and equipment.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed, units of work, crew time, and repairs to supervisors.
• Prepares periodic reports on incidents, equipment breakdowns, and new employee follow-ups.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, and safety measures to protect staff and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs to tools, trucks, and equipment.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and work locations.
• Ensures DOT maintenance and inspection compliance for vehicles.
• Keeps informed about new equipment and safety policies; requests repairs when needed.
