Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Florida seeks a Foreperson to organize daily crew work, ensure safety, and coordinate with management on hiring and deadlines. You will mentor employees, supervise training, and troubleshoot field issues, driving performance and quality of work.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Capable of overhead work and physical demands.
• Weight limit around 300 pounds and no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA requirements and conducts safety training.
• Coordinates with property owners on access, power interruptions, and work responsibilities.
• Obtains permission from owners before performing required work.
• Maintains good customer relations and professional conduct on the job site.
• Investigates small incidents or damage claims and assists with settlements when needed.
• Maintains accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports; controls crew costs.
• Furnishes managers with completed work reports and status updates on incidents and equipment.
