Job summary

Haley Ward, Inc. is seeking a skilled field technician with a strong construction background to support Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for landfill projects. You will help implement and maintain CQA programs across multiple sites and coordinate with owners, engineers, and regulators to ensure conformance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional engineering services, sitework, earthwork, landfill construction, or related environmental construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance inspections throughout landfill construction to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to project specifications.
• Implement QA processes to maintain construction quality standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address quality issues and guide corrective actions.
• Review plans, drawings, and specs for quality conformance.
• Maintain records of inspection results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in development and improvement of QA programs.
• Support project meetings and report CQA findings regularly.
• Assist with Final Construction Reports.
