Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC in the United States is seeking an Assistant Control Room Operator (ACRO) to join our operations team. The ACRO is a critical member of the plant operating team, serving as the eyes, ears, and primary field connection for the Control Room Operator.

This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, mechanical ability, sound judgment, leadership, trust, and reliability. You will monitor plant conditions, interact with equipment and staff, respond to operational issues,

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the applicable Operations Qualification Standard (OQS) and required lower-level qualifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Ability to understand complex plant systems and how they affect overall operation.
• Attention to detail and the ability to monitor and document equipment conditions.
• Effective communication between field and Control Room personnel.
• Reliability, dependability, and ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a team and also independently with limited supervision.
• Willingness to complete required training and annual retraining.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop knowledge of plant systems and their interactions.
• Serve as primary field resource and communication link for the Control Room Operator.
• Take equipment readings and log operations as required.
• Respond to malfunctions and abnormal conditions promptly and safely.
• Participate in safety drills and operational compliance checks.
• Provide coverage to other watch stations and assist with outages.
