Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking an Assistant Control Room Operator to join the operations team. The ACRO will monitor plant conditions, communicate with the Control Room Operator and Shift Supervisor, and help ensure safe, reliable operations during shifts, startups, and outages.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and training, with rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor equipment conditions.
• Strong communication skills between field and control room.
• Demonstrated reliability and ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Commitment to safety, training, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant conditions from the field and control room, and communicate issues clearly.
• Take accurate equipment readings and log operating data.
• Perform pre-start and post-shutdown walkdowns to verify equipment.
• Respond to malfunctions and abnormal conditions safely and promptly.
• Support startup, shutdowns, outages, and routine evolutions.
• Participate in safety drills and continuous improvement activities.
