Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Assistant Control Room Operator to join our operations team in New York. The ACRO supports the Control Room Operator by monitoring plant conditions, reading equipment, and maintaining logs, while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot industrial systems, and a collaborative mindset to work with the CRO and Shift Supervisor across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the applicable Operations Qualification Standard (OQS) and required lower-level qualifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Ability to understand complex plant systems and recognize how individual systems affect overall plant operation.

Responsibilities

• Uphold all safety, environmental, operating policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of plant systems and how they interact.
• Serve as primary field resource and communication link for the Control Room Operator.
