Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on a major project in Massachusetts. You will oversee all on-site activities, manage self-perform work, subcontractors, and consultants, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will ensure compliance with contract documents, manage budgets, track progress, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management with at least 5 years of experience in the construction field.
• Understands building plans and specs.
• OSHA 10 Certification required; OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Corporate/Industry Safety standards.
• Working knowledge of CPM schedule.
• Working knowledge of cost report and labor production report.Thorough knowledge of corporate quality program.
• Thorough knowledge of subcontract language.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Proficient in managing safety, schedule, cost, quality, and external partnerships.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for assigned projects.
• Verify subcontractor insurance and subcontract before site work begins.
• Serve as OSHA competent person for tasks or assign others.
• Preplan operations to develop safe, efficient methods and correct hazards.
• Supervise on-site construction to meet plans and specs.
• Interpret contract drawings/submittals and develop methods aligned with documents.
• Collaborate with project team to set goals and milestones.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for self-perform work.
• Create the Site-Specific Quality Plan and manage quality efforts.
• Complete onsite material verification and budget tracking.
• Assist PM with budgets, cost-to-complete, and change management.
• Maintain and communicate schedule baselines and progress.
• Lead daily stand-up and weekly foreman meetings.
• Interface professionally with clients, designers, contractors, and officials.
• Support business development and lead generation on current and future projects.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Supervise foremen and project engineers.
