Job summary

Dean Snyder Construction in Gretna, NE seeks a Superintendent I to direct construction crews and supervise daily projects. You will initiate and assign work, monitor progress, perform inspections, and train staff while coordinating with owners, project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep jobs on schedule.

You will enforce OSHA safety standards, develop look-ahead schedules, manage staffing, approve time-cards, and resolve field issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Eight years of progressively responsible construction experience with lead responsibilities.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and safety compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews and subcontractors; manage project procedures.
• Develop three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain project on schedule and budget.
• Attend safety meetings; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, PMs, architects, engineers and subs.
• Record daily logs; communicate issues to project manager.
