Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction tasks at client project sites. The role focuses on coordinating field operations, maintaining safety standards, and delivering quality control with strong documentation of daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on overall field operations from scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors as required.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings’ intent.
• Ensure all work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label/identify each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May support the Project Construction Manager and, if needed, oversee key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with project management and clients on all project issues.
