Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and quality control at client project sites. Work is field-based with potential field or office assignments depending on project needs.

Primary duties include coordinating field operations with the site construction lead, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and producing daily and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on field operations to align scheduling, daily and quality reports, and drawings conformance.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and drawing intent are met.
• Ensure work follows the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports with site leadership.
• Take progress photographs and label each image for project records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Provide support to the Project Construction Manager as needed and assist in subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with guidance from the Project Manager.
• Maintain on-site records and professional communications with project management and clients.
