Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and two years Journeyman electrician experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or an equivalent discipline with two years of related experience, or
• High school diploma/GED with seven years of related experience in construction, engineering, operations, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with customers (internal/external) on projects to ensure requirements are understood and met.
• Coordinate resources for construction projects to ensure crews are available and budgets tracked.
• Order project materials from stock with a 2–3 day lead time.
• May oversee garage activities; maintain vehicle records and inspections.
• Perform basic design duties for simple projects and assist with plans for complex ones.
• Act as Duty Supervisor during 24-hour call-outs for restoration and emergencies.
• Resolve differences by open communication and correct policy interpretation.
• Coordinate environmental/hazardous materials training and maintain SDS/files.
• Perform trench and panel inspections; coordinate warehouse/haulage for timely material delivery.
• Promote safety through meetings and safe work practices.
• Perform inspections per specifications and ensure timely repairs; maintain department documents.
