Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Assistant Superintendent to supervise field construction activities on a full-time basis at a Flagstaff, AZ site.

You will work with the Superintendent to coordinate crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progression of the project. You will support scheduling, inspections, documentation, and turnover activities while maintaining strong communications with Owners, engineers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering/construction background required.
• 2-4 years in a supervisory foreman role preferred.
• Experience with utility-scale solar projects is required.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent in supervising field construction activities and directing crews/subcontractors.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of field personnel to uphold safety and quality.
• Maintain relationships with Owners, Engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Enforce SOLV Energy safety policies and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review drawings and submittals to support field readiness and execution.
• Plan and manage materials, tools, and equipment; track deliveries.
