Job summary

CDM Smith in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a field operations professional to support on-site construction activities. You will coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule, preparing Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports, updating progress records, and assisting the Project Construction Manager with monthly progress

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience
Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience
Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling and daily reporting.
Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and conformance with drawings and specs.
Ensure work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
Label and manage progress photographs; maintain on-site records per document control standards.
Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and change documents as directed by the Project Construction Manager.
