Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to lead field engineering, site administration, and coordination on client projects. This role emphasizes scheduling, quality control, reporting, and safety in a 100% field environment.

Responsibilities include daily/quality reports, subcontractor oversight, and ensuring drawings and revisions are correctly followed. Travel is extensive, with a focus on field operations across the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with scheduling, daily reports, and quality control documentation.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photo.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May oversee key trades/subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with Project Manager.
• Provide clear, concise, professional communications with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records and files per CDM Smith document control requirements.
