Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to work on field projects with the client, performing field engineering, site administration, estimating, and quality control support. This role is 100% in the field, with travel across the United States, and requires coordinating with subcontractors and the site construction lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with field lead on scheduling, daily reports, and quality control documents.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for record keeping.
• Capture construction progress with labeled site photographs.
• Support Monthly Progress Reports with data and updates.
• Ensure use of the latest design drawings for construction.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Support trade/subcontractor management for the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with client approval.
