Job summary

Clayton, a leading single-family home builder in Tennessee, seeks a Construction Project Coordinator to support the retail team in delivering timely construction and world-class service. You will handle field construction tasks, permitting, walk-throughs, and coordination with contractors and customers, reporting to the Home Center General Manager.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work in a team, with an emphasis on reliability and in-person site

Responsibilities

• Completes all bill-backs with factories and related paperwork.
• Processes contractor bills.
• Responsible for customer files.
• Assist in obtaining permits.
• Follow-up with contractors and customers for service calls and paperwork.
• Manage Home Centers NPS (customer service).
• Schedule setup and delivery and other service items with contractors and customers.
• Follow-up with customers via various contact methods, including home visits.
• Merchandise the retail location and homes (furniture, décor, cleaning).
• Assist in audits preparation.
• Partner with manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets.
• Participate in sales meetings and company events.
• Support marketing promotions and events.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Be cooperative and collaborative; assist with miscellaneous duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
