Job summary

3 Day Blinds is seeking a Design Coach to help ensure the success of our Design Consultants through coaching, ride-alongs, and ongoing development. You will support district leadership and training, applying knowledge of products, processes, and resources acquired during training.

Collaboration with the field and training teams is essential. You’ll mentor new DCs, review training items, coach to opportunities from appointments, and help improve measurement accuracy and sales outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for 2-year college degree or related training.
• Experience in retail or in-home sales support is preferred.
• Experience in window treatment industry is a plus.
• Proven customer service orientation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to new DCs on ride-alongs five days a week for the first 3–4 weeks of selling, then coach to opportunities.
• Review training items and coach on appointments to improve performance.
• Assist new DCs with reviewing client invoices to catch errors before production.
• Verify accuracy of window measurements during ride-alongs.
• Provide the DSM with timely written and verbal feedback on field issues.
• Help instill good habits: time management, process adherence, timely email responses.
• Improve sales error rates and first-time install outcomes through coaching and team-meeting feedback.
• Partner with installers to identify measurement causes and run workshops.
• Present product updates in team meetings as requested by Training Department.
• Coordinate installer ride-alongs with new hires during training.
