Job summary

3 Day Blinds is seeking a Design Consultant Coach to mentor new Design Consultants and support veteran DCs in applying knowledge from training. You’ll ride along with DCs, review training materials, and provide actionable coaching to improve accuracy and customer experience.

Based in the Minneapolis area with 50–60% travel, you will help instill core values, drive performance, and coordinate with Training and Installed Services departments to ensure timely and high-quality customer interactions.

• Strong customer service orientation and relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–60% and work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback and coaching to new DCs during ride-alongs five days a week for the first 3–4 weeks.
• Support new DCs by reviewing training items and coaching on appointment opportunities.
• Assist new DCs with reviewing client invoices to catch errors before production.
• Verify accuracy of window measurements during ride-alongs.
• Give the DSM timely written and verbal feedback on field issues.
• Encourage good habits like time management and following processes across channels.
• Reduce sales errors and installation issues by coaching and sharing findings in team meetings.
• Partner with installers to identify causes of measuring errors and coordinate workshops.
• Present product updates in team meetings as required by Training Department.
• Assist with coordinating installer ride-alongs with new hires during training.
