Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer to drive metal-cutting tool sales within the Dallas/Fort Worth territory. The role blends machining know-how with sales, requiring field work 80% of the time and a strong technical customer focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
• Proficient in product knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue targets within the territory.
• Provide metal-cutting solutions based on market trends.
• Generate and manage sales leads and new accounts.
• Lead the full sales process from prospecting to pricing.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive revenue.
• Answer pre-sales technical and commercial questions promptly.
• Keep CRM and project records up-to-date.
• Collaborate with internal sales and support teams.
• Demonstrate products online or on-site tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct pre-sales workshops and webinars.
• Represent Kennametal at trade shows and events.
• Deliver cost-saving recommendations through tooling analyses.
