Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Tooling Sales and Application Engineer to drive metal-cutting tool sales growth, managing customer relationships and delivering technical direction.

The role blends technical machining knowledge with sales skills and will largely operate in the Winston-Salem, NC territory, with 80% field activity and a company vehicle. This position offers a base salary plus bonus and benefits starting day 1, with home-office flexibility within the territory; travel to customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
• 1-2 years of technical sales or applications experience preferred.
• Proficient in product knowledge, including applications and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue targets by providing metal cutting solutions and understanding market trends.
• Generate, qualify, and manage sales leads and new customer accounts.
• Proactively manage the full sales process from prospecting to pricing and negotiations.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve revenue goals, focusing on new product sales.
• Provide timely answers to pre-sales technical and commercial queries.
