Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Tooling Sales and Application Engineer to drive metal-cutting tool sales in our Dallas territory. You will translate technical know-how into tailored solutions for customers, balancing field time with strategic account development.

Based in the assigned region, you’ll partner with internal teams and lead demonstrations, workshops, and multi-step sales cycles to exceed revenue targets while delivering exceptional service and value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
• Proficient knowledge of applications and troubleshooting; tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Strong MS Office and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue targets as defined.
• Provide metal cutting solutions by understanding market trends and customer needs.
• Generate, qualify and manage sales leads and new accounts.
• Manage the complete sales process from prospecting to pricing and negotiations.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet revenue goals.
• Provide timely answers to pre-sales technical and commercial queries.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records to ensure a healthy pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver end-to-end customer experience.
• Perform online and onsite demonstrations of metal cutting products.
• Conduct pre-sales workshops and webinars within the territory.
• Represent Kennametal at tradeshows and events in the territory.
• Deliver cost savings through analysis of application needs and testing.
