Job summary

Mayo Clinic seeks an experienced sales professional to promote Mayo Medical Laboratories tests nationwide. You will work from a home-based office within your territory, focusing on physician and client relationships and contract negotiations.

The role requires 3 years of sales experience in healthcare, with an emphasis on hospital or laboratory settings. Occasional travel and overnight stays are expected in a field-based capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in sales, preferably in a hospital or lab setting.
• Experience with physician/client facing contact or negotiating contracts.
• Must be able to travel and field-based sales.
• Teritory based home-office setup is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote Mayo Clinic’s core values and support community-based care through selling Mayo Medical Laboratories tests.
• Generate new business revenue and co-develop account and test selling strategies.
• Collaborate with CSR Director and Regional Directors to project annual sales growth and market dynamics.
• Sell and persuade buying influences to move testing to Mayo and coordinate bid processes for opportunities.
• Identify differentiated tests with Product Managers and negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Travel as required; field-based, occasional overnight.
