Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a field-based sales professional to promote Mayo Medical Laboratories tests within a defined territory, including home-office work and extensive travel. You will generate new revenue, develop client-specific strategies, and collaborate with leadership to drive growth and market differentiation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with three years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare, and a track record in physician/client interactions and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience in sales, preferably in the market segment represented.
• Experience in physician/client facing contact or negotiating contracts within hospital or laboratory settings.
• Willingness to work from a home office within an assigned territory and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Promote Mayo Clinic's core values and support community-based health care through the sale of Mayo Medical Laboratories tests.
• Generate new business revenue and co-develop account and test selling strategies with clients.
• Collaborate with CSR Director, Regional Director of Sales, and regional managers to project annual sales growth and develop business plans.
• Differentiate Mayo from competitors, coordinate resources, prepare presentations, and participate in bid processes for new or upsell opportunities.
• Identify tests or groups of tests to differentiate in the market and pursue upsells with regional managers, negotiating pricing and contracts.
• This is a field-based sales role with expected overnight travel.
