Job summary

BD is seeking a Procedural Specialist to promote AR&R products to customers through clinical support and education across a defined geographic area, and as directed by the Regional Business Manager.

Responsibilities include educating physicians and hospital staff, coordinating training, and maintaining relationships with surgeons and staff. The role involves 60-80% travel and home-based work, with reporting to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred; or minimum of 6 years equivalent relevant work experience with High School diploma.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas.
• Surgical and procedure knowledge, adequate to support clinical cases.
• Medical and surgical terminology; basic anatomy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on AR&R products through case support and training programs.
• Coordinate with field sales, logistics, timing, duration, strategy and execution of field level training and technical support.
• Establish and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, hospitals and physicians; obtain new users and applications.
• Observe and report market trends affecting AR&R sales and product development.
• Maintain relationships with Region Manager, Territory Managers, ATMs and customers.
• Represent BD in accordance with policies.
• Process customer complaints and returns per procedures.
• Maintain company automobile and property; complete and process reports.
