Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in the United States seeks a Field Engineer to provide project field engineering support, work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and system turnover coordination on LNG, energy and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant project experience, with mobility across Gulf Coast and other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, or 6–9 years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work in active construction environments including walking rebar and climbing formwork.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's ES&H Handbook and Core Processes.
• Experience supervising subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents and field conditions to support concrete construction activities.
• Prepare work packages, sketches, field instructions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
• Support system turnover, punch-list resolution, and turnover documentation.
• Promote continuous learning to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
