Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Field Engineer to provide specialized field engineering, work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination on LNG and related energy projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–12 years of experience in heavy-industrial construction, with mobility to other US locations as needed. Proficiency in MS Office and field inspections is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Construction site experience in heavy industry.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint; Bechtel tools like Aconex/Set Route.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
• Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.
• Initiates requisitions for field purchases.
• Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
• Verifies commodities in quantity tracking systems.
• Ensures zero accident safety philosophy and appropriate PPE.
