Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects.

You will conduct field inspections, verify materials, and maintain project documentation while supporting project engineers and management. The role requires reading plans, applying specifications, coordinating with contractors, and traveling within District 4/Tifton, GA or Southwest GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and related inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, alignment, depth and overall quality.
• Maintain accurate project records and prepare inspection reports.
• Supervise inspectors and participate in project meetings as needed.
• Communicate with teams, contractors and stakeholders on compliance.
