Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Georgia seeks a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection of roadway and bridge projects, ensuring compliance with plans and standards.

You will conduct field inspections, verify materials and workmanship, and support project engineers and management throughout construction. The role requires reading plans, performing pay quantity measurements, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong math and measurement calculation skills.
• Ability to communicate with project teams and contractors clearly.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, depth, and quality.
• Inspect structural components including foundations, excavation, piling, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, and culverts.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion/sediment control measures.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records; prepare reports.
