Accura Engineering seeks a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects in Georgia. You will verify plans, specs, and standards, conduct field inspections, and support project engineers while ensuring quality and compliance.

The role involves measuring quantities, preparing reports, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders. A valid driver’s license and GDOT-related certifications are required, with salary discussed

Qualificações

• Requires reading and interpreting construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials, methods, equipment, and inspection procedures.
• Obtain GDOT certifications and pass tests within specified timeframes.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in Georgia.

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, depth, and quality.
• Inspect structural components and operations including foundations and reinforcement.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Prepare reports and maintain inspection records; document project activities.
