Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection services for roadway, bridge, and transportation projects in Georgia.

The role involves field inspections, documenting materials and workmanship, and supporting project engineers. A valid driver's license and GDOT certifications are preferred, with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months to 3 years of progressive transportation inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials, methods, equipment, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials and pavement placement quality.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Prepare reports and maintain inspection records.
• Supervise inspectors and assist project management as needed.
